This morning I set the alarm for 7am just so I could start my day by putting God first in my life.  I read chapter 5 this morning.  What impressed me was that they were now responsible for preserving the commandments of God.  Wow.  What a task!  I can only imagine that they felt quite honored to do so.

Also, even Sariah their mother murmured against Lehi.  And in the future I know Lehi’s faith waivers.  Nephi is the only one whose faith never waivers.  Well, I can’t remember about his younger brothers, but of his parents and Laman and Lemuel I know it was only Nephi who remains faithful, always looking to God, never doubting.  I have alwasy loved that phrase, never doubting.  What great faith it takes to never doubt!!

Well, from waking up this early I have found that Ben is up now and just playing quietly in his crib.  I usually get him up around 7:40 or so when I hear him screaming in his crib.  Maybe this will make for a bit of a happier morning.
