Hey everyone.  I just realized that I hadn’t written about the chapter I read this morning.  I read chapter four where Nephi actually slays Laban for the plates of brass.

The significant part to me is that Nephi went into the city not knowing what he was going to do, but just being led by the spirit.  Once he was there, Laban was delivered into his hands and he was able to slay him.  The Lord will sacrifice one wicked man so that a nation does not dwindle in unbelief.

I forgot that I am giving the lesson in Relief Society on the first Sunday in February, but Nephi has inspired me to give it on Faith.  So stay tuned for more on that.

For now I am off to bed.
