Hello-

I was off this morning early and didn’t get back until mid afternoon.  I seem to think it is already done after the time it should be done.  So here I am before bed to keep my new year’s resolution alive!!

The point I want to make tonight is that we are supposed to liken the scriptures to ourselves (1 Nephi 19:23). We need to think how they apply in our lives.  When we do this, we will truly be blessed.  I often feel like the scriptures are speaking right to me.  I have heard that we should replace people’s names with our own when we read.  They are meant to be personal just as our relationships with Christ and Heavenly Father are meant to be!  We should feel their love on a personal basis.  It truly is the greatest feeling knowing that there is someone who understands you more than you do or anyone else does.  Who loves you more than you can comprehend!!  I know these things because of the scriptures and because I liken them to myself!
